April 20th and 21st

Yesterday and today were extremely beautiful days in Eau Claire. The high for both days got up to just about 60 degrees and the low got down to just above freezing. The low is quite cold, but at least there are no more frost warnings that we have had earlier this month. It is a fairly windy day today, with winds coming from the southeast just under 20 mph. The cloud cover was fairly clear yesterday and today we will see developing cloud cover. There are a mix of different clouds today, but for the most part they are a variety of stratus clouds. The barometric pressure is at exactly 30 and the dew point is at 29 degrees. Looking at the Doppler radar you can see an ecluded front with a low pressure system in Minnesota that is creating some precipitation. That is what Eau Claire can expect to see at some point later in the pm. There is also a line of storms west of Florida in the gulf right now that will hit Florida later today. There is also a line of light rain from Kentucky up into the Adirondacks. Here is the national Doppler for April 21st.
