April 22nd

Today was another beautiful day for Eau Claire. It was sunny in the beginning of the day and got all the way up towards 60 degrees. The low tonight will get down towards the mid 30's so it will be another chillier night. There was a lot of cloud cover toward the PM but it cleared up a lot during the night time. Tomorrow's temperatures will be very similar. The wind is coming out of the north at about 10 mph. Looking at the Doppler there is a high pressure system over Lake Superior and Nebraska which is why Wisconsin has some decent weather right now. While Wisconsin's weather isn't very exciting right now, the big story is in Pennsylvania. There is a stationary front off the east coast, bring a lot of precipitation to the New England states. The temperature is low enough in Pennsylvania though that they are getting snow! They are actually projected to get over a foot in mid Pennsylvania up to western New York. This is very dangerous to crops and trees, since there was such an early bloom. So we can only hope for the best, here is a map of the projected snow fall:
