April 19th.

Today started out as a beautiful day in Eau Claire but quickly turned into a very rainy one. A troft developed throughout the day around the Rockies and is now moving through the Mississippi River Valley, with most of the moisture in Southern Minnesota right now. There is currently a low pressure system sitting over Iowa with a stationary front running from Texas to the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Since the low pressure is rotating counter clockwise don't expect any major storms in our area, just some constant rain. The temperatures will also dip fairly low tonight, actually giving Eau Claire a chance for some snowfall (nothing standing though). The wind is coming out of the east at about 9 mph right now, and should stay around this speed throughout the night. Tomorrow's high will get up to around 54 degrees, and expect another chilly night, with it getting back down to 31 tomorrow night. The only other interesting weather action going on right now is some light rain in Washington and Florida. Here is the doppler radar for the system affecting Minnesota and Wisconsin right now:
