I am just doing a quick update for the weather right now. There is still a southeast wind right now even though we have gotten snow so far. This is a very heavy sticky moist snow. This cold pocket of the low pressure system is still kicking cold air into Eau Claire since it is just entering western Iowa. Once this low moves closer it will give us warmer air, which will cause the snow to turn into a wintry mix. I will keep you updated on the wind direction if it changes. Here is a current map of the low pressure bringing precipitation to Wisconsin. We will keep an eye and see if the low is still projected to go well north of Eau Claire as well, stay tuned for another update later tonight!
