February 27

Unfortunately it looks like the low pressure system will be moving well to our north. This means we will not get as much of the much needed snow most of us were hoping for. Eau Claire will get 3 to 5 inches, but throughout Tuesday and Wednesday it is going to turn into a wintry mix. This may make road conditions extremely bad if the temperature gets below freezing again after the wintry mix. The high for today got up into the upper 30's and the low for tonight will get down to the low 20's. There was partially cloudy cover today, and very calm winds for most of the day. There is currently a high pressure system to our south in Illinois and north above Lake Superior. I have included a map of winter weather warning below.
