Today had extremely windy conditions. The winds got up to over 20 mph! There was a very light snow later on during the day. There were mainly cloudy conditions with some breaks in the cloud cover later during the day. The conditions are also very stable, and I included a stuve diagram to show the atmospheric conditions. The temperatures were very mild, getting all the way into the 40's. Tonight the lows will get down into the 20's. There is a very strong chance for Eau Claire to get 6 + inches of snow in the next day or two! Some parts of Northern Wisconsin will even get above 12 inches of snow.
