Happy May Day, this will be the first post for the month of May. The temperature is going to reach a high of 74 degrees today so it is going to be a beautiful start to the month of may. It will be mostly cloudy with mixed skies for most of the day. The wind is coming out of the SSE and will reach up into the high teens. The humidity is at 60% but will keep dropping as the day goes on. Tonight will get down to the lower 60's so it will be a good night as well. The winds will change to a south direction but will stay at about the same speed. There is a 50% chance of getting rain tonight, and there is also a chance to get scattered thunderstorms. The high chance for these storms will come around midnight. Below is a map of the area that is covered by this severe thunderstorm system.
