April 30th

Today is student research day at UWEC and it was an amazing day to have it. The high for today got up to around 60 degrees and the low tonight will get down to around the mid 40's. There is cumulus humulus clouds right now and the cloud cover is slowly dissipating throughout the day. The humidity is at 64% and the barometric pressure is at 28.89. This is the first time I have seen the barometric pressure dip below 30 in a long time. The wind is coming out of the SSW at about 8 mph. There isn't much for weather in Wisconsin right now but the rest of the USA is a little more exciting. There is a line of storms stretching from Detroit to Louisville. This storms is a result of the low pressure system sitting over Indiana/Ohio. There is also a cold front associated with this system to the southwest. There is also a spotting of storms throughout Arkansas and Texas. Tomorrow's forecast for Wisconsin is going to be a bit more interesting. The winds will be up in the 20 mph range and there is a 50% chance of thunderstorms that night. Here is the Doppler of the Midwest and you can see the line of storms from Detroit to Louisville.
