March 6th

Today was an extremely mild day. The high got all the way up into the 50's today, with a low getting down to around only 42 tonight. The normal high for this time of the year is well below the low for tonight. There was a warm front that came through Wisconsin that carried warm maritime tropical air. There is a very light wind at 2mph coming from the southwest. Tomorrow we can expect a low pressure system to move through Eau Claire. This will bring with it a good amount of rain, so expect a good amount of the snow to melt tomorrow. However with the pressure system moving through, and the cold front coming with it, later that night the temperatures will dip below the 30's freezing all of the precipitation we get tomorrow. So expect extremely icy and hazardous conditions in the next couple of days. Here is a map showing the extremely high temperatures.
