April 4th

Today's high got into the high 60's and the low tonight will dip all the way down to about the freezing point. Today has been almost totally clear, with a couple variable clouds at some points. There is a 9 mph wind coming from the east/northeast and the winds will stay at this speed most of the night but turn to a northeasterly wind by nighttime. There is a 0% chance of rain tonight and even into tomorrow. The pressure is at about 29.9 inches and staying about even. The dew point is at 28 degrees now (current temp 59) so you can see there is very little chance for rain. Looking at the Doppler radar you can see there isn't a whole lot of activity around Wisconsin right now. The wind direction is coming from a low pressure system sitting in southern Illinois, but we will not see and precipitation from this since it will happen at the cold front near it running along the Ohio River. There is however a low pressure system that will be moving out way along a cold front that is currently in Montana/Idaho. This system could possibly bring some storms with it sometime this weekend when it reaches the Eau Claire area. This is the current Doppler radar of the entire USA:
