April 2nd

Today was a very nice day for the start of April. The high today got up to around 70 degrees and the low for tonight will get down to around the upper 40's. There was a mostly cloudy day out today with an 8 mph wind coming from the southeast. Tonight while I am posting this it is storming out, and actually hailed out a little bit as well. There is a decent amount of rain with about a quarter inch so far at about 1:30am. It is suppose to rain throughout the night so expect a bit more rain. There is low pressure system in Iowa which is pushing the storm we are seeing tonight. Since this is a first storm of many good ones to be expected, I took a video of it for a little bit. Look for this video in my daily weather photo section. I also included a regional Doppler while the storm was coming through.
