Spring Break Update (March 18th)

This will be my last post for about a week or so. Since we are over Spring Break we do not have to post so I will do one final weather update. Also look for a big update on my daily pictures and videos, as I will be working on those sections over Spring Break instead of the posts. For the past couple of days Eau Claire and most of Wisconsin has been in the upper 70's and even into the 80's. Eau Claire's current temperature at 3:45 pm  is 78 degrees with a strong southerly wind coming from the south at 26 mph. It is mostly cloudy and there are cumulocongestus clouds, with the winds and the vertical growth Eau Claire can expect some rain in the near  future. The forecast for tomorrow is actually thunderstorms, so we could see one of our first thunderstorms of the season. I included the regional Doppler as well, and you can see the low pressure system in Dakota right now will be moving into Wisconsin in the next day, which is what will bring the possible thunderstorms. I also am including a map for everyone who may be going down to Florida or Texas for spring break. You can see the currents highs in FL and TX are only ~5 degrees Fahrenheit above Wisconsin's highs. So I will personally enjoy the amazing weather up here in Wisconsin and will post again on March 26th!
