March 2nd
Today's high will get up to around 38 degrees with the low dropping down into the mid 20's. There is a small chance to get a light snow fall today, but nothing noticeable on the ground. There is a light wind of about 5 mph coming from the northwest. There is actually a low pressure system just above and below Wisconsin right now, and the wind direction is coming from that low pressure system to our south. Today will be mostly cloudy with the winds picking up slightly as the day progresses. Eastern Wisconsin will actually be getting a fair amount of severe weather today. They could be getting upward of 8 inches of snow and winds getting up to 20 mph from the southwest. I added a map of this system, and you can see it moving northeast out of Illinois where it is mostly rain at the moment but will change over once it gets up to Wisconsin. There is also tornado and severe weather down towards Tennessee and Kentucky right now moving east. I added a severe weather map as well (yellow and red are tornadoes in KY and TN):
