March 28th

Today was another beautiful day, not quite as warm as before break, but very nice for March. The high got up into the upper 50's and the wind was still fairly strong at roughly 10 mph. The wind is coming from the north right now because of a nice high pressure system sitting over northern Minnesota. This will however bring cold conditions tonight. Eau Claire and much of western Wisconsin has a freeze warning out, which you can see on the map below. The low tonight is expected to get down into the low 30's, with the wind persisting. It is also expected to be perfectly clear tonight, which will help further lower the temperature over what it would normally be. The high for tomorrow will get up to around the upper 50's and the low will only get down into the low 40's tomorrow, so the freeze warning should only last tonight. Tomorrow night however has a chance for some light rain showers, from a low pressure system moving through Montana right now.
