March 12th
Today was overcast with occasional showers throughout the day. There was altostatus clouds with a southeast wind which was a good sign of the precipitation we got most of the day. The rain got rid of most of the left over snow that was left on the ground. The high today got up to around the upper 60's and the low today will get down to the mid 40's. The low tonight is well above the average high for this time of year. Later tonight the wind will change direction to northwest and much of the cloud cover and precipitation will break up by tomorrow morning. There will still be some clouds but there will be some sunlight unlike today. Today's total precipitation added up to around half an inch. The high tomorrow will break the 60's again and the low will get down into the mid 40's again like tonight. The winds will pick up slightly, getting up into the mid teens. There is an included front above Lake Superior with a cold front moving in from Minnesota. The temperatures are expected to stay above 70 degree throughout the week for a high, which is extremely mild for this time of year. Here is a map of the high temperature along with the Doppler.
