Today's forecast got back up to the mild temperatures that we have been feeling most of this winter. The high got up to 40 today. The low is only expected to get into the mid 20's tonight as well, which is the average high this time of year. There is a small chance for a rain and snow mix tonight as well. There is no wind right now, but the wind will pick up to around 8 mph tonight. There is a high pressure system in the western Dakotas right now that is pushing some of the wintry rain mix towards us. If you look at the map below you can see that there is a scatter mix of snow/rain throughout northern Wisconsin. There is snow in northern Minnesota and a rain/snow mix near the Twin Cities. Looking at the wind patterns (coming from southwest later tonight) we will be getting the wintry mix, if any precipitation at all:
