4 Favorite Maps

These are 4 maps that I like a lot for my first assignment. The top map is of lightning strikes in the USA. I think this is a really cool and interesting map. I think that it is really useful to be able to see where lightning strikes and is an amazing piece on technology to have. I also added a map of temperature deviations from normal averages. This is a useful map since there is higher temperatures right now in Wisconsin. You can see this is opposite compared to the Great Plains area which is cooler. I also put a map of severe weather alerts in the USA. I think this is a very useful map for everyone to look at. It can help people prepare for severe weather that they may have to face in the near future. I also added a map of snow cover. I really like this map since I really like a lot of snow in winter. There definitely isn't a lot of snow right now and I am hoping this snow cover map starts to show more high concentrations of snow cover.
